Temple B’nai Abraham Sisterhood is a vibrant, active, diverse organization ready for YOU to bring your interests to light, your energy to existing programs, and your ideas for new activities and programs to our community! Here is a brief overview of what we have to offer, please consider joining us in our exploration of ideas and culture, our support of our community, and our just for fun activities! All are welcome to attend all events.

Author/Lecture Series Brunch Committee
This committee helps with the event planning (invitations, PR, book sales) as well as cooking the weekend of the event.
Book Club
Meetings are held several times during the year at a member’s home, or on Zoom. Books, dates and locations are announced through TBA’s website. All are welcome to attend.
Support Our Community
Bikur Cholim on-going support
This committee helps with meal preparation for shiva or illness. They can also provide transportation when scheduling permits. They perform an indispensable community service!
New Year’s Greeting Book
This committee works in the late spring and summer to coordinate the mailings, set-up, proofing, and printing of the New Year’s Greeting Book.
High Holiday Gift Bags
Sisterhood provides a gift bag to all members. This committee helps with baking, shopping, filling the bags and distributing them to the community.
Membership Brunch
A celebration event held every year to honor our members in the TBA Community. This committee helps with decorations, invitations, catering, set-up and cleanup the day of the event.
Just-For-Fun
Ladies, Latkes and Libations December
This committee helps with invitations, set-up and food preparation. Everyone is invited to come and enjoy a Hanukkah celebration at a member’s home. Lots of laughs and camaraderie are had by all (not to mention yummy food).
Comedy Night Committee January
This is the social event of the season! Comedy Night gets us all out for a night of fun, good food, beverages and lots of laughs! This committee helps with invitations, planning, and execution of this great event.
In addition to the fun and community service opportunities that Sisterhood provides, our Sisterhood dues also allows us to present no cost social programs, make special purchases for the temple and religious school, and make direct donations to the temple’s fundraising goal.
Help out one time with a single event and/or whenever you are available. Extra help is always needed making calls, getting out the mailings, shopping, setting up or cleaning up for events.
